Rethinking Aman ki Asha

Rethinking Aman Ki Asha

There has been a major shift in political opinion regarding India and our government is more Pro-Indian than ever. Hell, our government seems to love the Indians so much, we are signing a trade agreement with them, with India as "most favoured nation"

Well forgive me for not being overjoyed at the idea. I think its ludicrous. I think we are giving away way too much without getting anything in return. For all those Pro-Indian idiots out there, let me explain this briefly. Here are a couple of small things that escaped your notice:

Lets start with the latest and then I'll go back in time:

Do I need to remind you of the drought in Thar and that the death toll has now reached 173; did you know that the drought is a direct result of India's water theft and violation of the Indus Water Treaty. (For those of you that don't know, the Indus water treaty was signed in 1960 dividing the rivers in Jammu and Kashmir between the two countries, Ravi,Beas and Sutlej were granted to India and Chenab, Jehlum and Indus were granted to Pakistan.)

Did you know that India has now been granted permission by the ICA to use the Kishan-Ganga dam to generate electricity. It is built upstream to Jehlum river and it will reduce the power generation of Neelum-Jehlum project by 13% or 700million units. It will also reduce Pakistan's water supply by 45% or 2.45MAF. We might as well be facing severe drought in a couple of years.
Lets not forget the blood-thirsty Taliban; blowing up our people and slaughtering our Armed forces. Indian RAW is supporting them financially and providing them arms via Afghanistan. They are also covertly supporting BLA and other seperatist elements in Balochistan.
Do you remember the LOC violations in 2013 that led to 20 soldiers being martytred and 28 civilian casualties.
Anyone remember the Mumbai attacks, Ajmal Kasab the lone surviving gunman: it was later found out that he was an Indian and that the whole incident was planned in a 9/11 pattern by Indian Intelligence Agency RAW to defame Pakistan.
It seems we have a very bad memory, lets go further back in time;
Siachen was illegally occupied by India in 1984 and still is.
They chopped off  half of our country in 1971 by fueling differences and aiding and abbetting the Mukti Bahini.
They occupied muslim-majority Kashmir in 1947 and are still occupying it.
And the list could go on forever. India is fully exploiting our weak and corrupt leadership who are more interested in guarding their precious peacocks than worrying about Pakistanis being slaughtered by Indian-backed TTP. Our leadership is smoking some pretty heavy stuff if they are out to sign several trade agreements with India and opening up the Wahga Border without getting anything in return. We need to put an end to this madness, we need to rethink Aman ki asha, we need to put Pakistan before everything else. I don't oppose the idea of peace, I'm just not okay with it coming at such a huge price.
